When talking about bread and saying “soldier bread”, the first association is something special, specific, exceptional. It is safe to say that military bread is actually a brand, everyone hopes that it is something special.

Little can be found in historiography and literature about the importance of bread on the war and home front. History has proven that every war is one of those unfortunate situations where such ontological fear turns into reality. It was the same in the Great War. Here it was exclusively about a conscious and organized policy of destroying the enemy through lack of bread and food.

It was a terrible war, the likes of which the world had not remembered until then, the inhuman suffering of a huge number of people and completely senseless victims (if any war has any meaning at all). It was the supremacy of force over the spirit, as a universal value! Once again, it was shown that it is easier to destroy than to build the material and spiritual world, and that it is the most difficult to preserve what has been built.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Do9c8i–d7s
