In the period of imperial Russia, it was industrial growth and the introduction of new product brands, and in the period of the USSR, the spread of a new ideology and its economic successes, that is, the spread of optimism. Thematically, their messages are related to bread and baking, but content-wise these posters follow current economic and ideological processes. The propaganda goal of these posters certainly does not reduce their design, i.e. artistic value. On the contrary, in order to make them as effective as possible, the clients hired renowned artists. Thus, these posters are at the same time witnesses of the official artistic direction of the artist in the time in which they were created.
