Presentation of the monograph

As I am not a historian nor do I deal with military strategy, that is not the content of this publication. First of all, I am interested in an unusual topic – the importance of bread in the Great War. Maybe this will seem like a completely trivial story to someone, but the outcome of the Great War has just been decided by bread! This important topic has been unfairly neglected in military and historical literature. of the First World War. The battles were fought on the battlefield, but the war was much wider. The context of the Great War in this publication is not presented “military” – according to the belligerents, fronts, battles or countries that participated in it, but a unique content, related to bread, in which the equal suffering and cruelty of war for all warring peoples is considered.
