The main aim of the project is to educate and to demonstrate, on a popular way the living human treasure concerning bread as a religious symbol. In the background of these aim is the tendency to support better understandings and more tolerance between humans and their different religions and cultural traditions.
The most read book, the “bestseller” of all time, is the Bible. Everything that is written in the Bible has a depth of ambiguity, and the bread itself is mentioned in that context in more than 200 places. Bread is the only “food” that has its unique symbolic and metaphorical meaning in Judaism and Christianity (in the sense of life and spiritual maintenance, as well as moral behavior. The story about religions breads is a story about the ethical and symbolic life of humans which has always been actual. Bread in the Bible primarily has the metaphorical meaning of a clear ethical vertical, which brings universal values to human life.
